Lucas Digne could still stay with Lille this summer despite strong interest from Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain, according to the club's president Michel Seydoux.
The full-back, 19, rose to prominence last season following impressive displays in the Champions League with les Dogues, which has caught the attention of France's most financially-backed clubs.
But
Seydoux has warned the nouveaux riche in Ligue 1 that there is no
pressure to sell Digne and he is determined to ensure the talented
prospect remains at the club this season.
Asked if a deal was close, he told L'Equipe: "The transfer will not happen this weekend, but yes, there is a competition between Monaco and PSG.
"But nobody mentions a third solution and that is that he stays with us this season.
"This club is not bankrupt, so that is still a real possible alternative."
Digne has a contract with Lille which runs until the summer of 2017.
