Bursaspor have announced on their official website that they have secured the services of Taye Taiwo from AC Milan for an undisclosed fee.
The
Nigeria international was deemed surplus to requirements at the Serie A
giants and will continue his career in Turkey after signing a
three-year deal with his new club.
Taiwo had joined Milan from
Olympique de Marseille on a free transfer in the summer of 2011, but
failed to secure regular first team action at the San Siro side.
He
was farmed out on loan to QPR only six months after his arrival, before
leaving Milan for Dynamo Kiev on a one-year loan deal in the summer of
2012.
The 28-year-old returned to Milan ahead of the 2013-14
campaign, but was quickly told that he was no longer needed and has now
left the club on a permanent basis.
